How is it March already? Are you enjoying seeing the little hints of spring pop up here and there?
I'm so excited to say my work was selected to exhibit in a solo exhibition at Inspire Makers, which is a beautiful creative space in the centre of Falmouth. I applied to be in their gallery last year and I was over the moon to get a response of yes!
Which reminds me that I wanted to tell you about this challenge I'm trying out. Have you heard of the 100 No Thank You Challenge? This exhibition wasn't a part of that as this is something I started this year. I felt I got more no's than yes's and thought it would be interesting to see what actually happens. I began with 12 requests not just galleries but commissions and a podcast too. I got one yes, 2 maybes, 2 no thank you's and 7 I've not heard anything back from. I've realised I'm going to have to up my game to reach 100 no thank you's by the end of the year! This has reminded me to put more requests out there and I'll update you later in the year.
Exhibition Details
This exhibition will run from 4th -29th March at Inspire Makers - Falmouth opening hours Tues-Sat 11am-4pm
