Original Acrylic Painting 'Cornish Dream'

This is an original Acrylic Painting on Canvas titled "Cornish Dream"

Inspired from a family day out at Gunwalloe Cove in Cornwall.  

I can remember seeing the place for the first time as we walked along the path and we approached the opening to the Cove. The wind was strong and the sound of the waves beating against the rocks was intense.  It’s a moment in time I will always remember as I was filled with awe and just how powerful the ocean can be.  At one point the sun broke through the clouds and I could see the sea spray glisten in the light.  It really was magical.  By painting this scene I’ve captured this memory forever and hopefully shared my love and energy from the place in my painting.

This painting appeared at the St Ives Arts Club Members Exhibition and was also selected to be in the St Ives Arts Society Open Christmas Exhibition.

The Canvas  measures 36in x 28in or 91.5 x 71cm.  The depth is 2cm
